Mission

The east side of Columbus has been a burden on Darryl and Wendy Hammock's heart for several years. It is a growing area in the fastest growing city in the state of Ohio. It is filled with both poverty and prosperity. The racial mixture is the most diverse in the state and one of the most diverse in the world. With less than 40% that attend any church regularly the gospel is greatly needed. In Matthew chapter 28:18-20 "Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Vision

�We envision having a church that takes in sinners that are looking for a place of forgiveness and second chances, a place of security and love no matter who are or what you have done, a City of Refuge.

�We envision empowering leaders to build into other leaders. This is a process of multiplying instead of adding.

�We envision building a facility that is used seven days a week. It will be used for community events and outreach.

�We envision having a multicultural worship environment welcoming all people groups and all ages.

�We envision having a evangelistic emphasis that trains and encourages members to share their faith through different types of methods of evangelism.

�We envision an environment where the Bible is preached and taught clearly and intentionally.

�We envision using modern ways of infiltrating the community.
